Bob Dalton has been an ardent falconer for fifty years and has always been passionate about flying falcons. His experience is wide, and he has flown many different species of falcon ranging from Merlin and Red Headed Merlin through to Peregrine and Gyr Falcons. Various flights, utilising both out of the hood and waiting on style of flying, have been eagerly pursued and more than twenty-five countries visited in order to enjoy as many aspects of falconry as possible.

As well as being an accomplished falconer Bob has written several books on falconry as well as producing a quarterly magazine, “World of Falconry” on the subject. Two years ago he founded “Project Lugger” an organisation dedicated to working towards the conservation of the Lugger Falcon.
