Mian Muhammad Shafiq after attaining Master Degree in the  Zoology (MSc ZOOLOGY) from University of Peshawar served in Islamia College University, Peshawar as an honorary lecturer in zoology.

He joined Federal Service after qualifying FPSC and joined National  Council for Conservation of wildlife, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Govt of Pakistan as an Assistant Secretary Wildlife.

He has a Vast experience in Planning, Preparations of Projects of Wildlife Conservations, protected areas and wetland management. He is also Dealing the International Conventions likes CITES,CMS and Ramsar.

He served  as a Deputy Conservator Wildlife, Wildlife Management Specialist, Extension Specialist and Conservator Wildlife in Ministry of Climate Change.

He has Supervised more than 20 (Twenty) MSc Thesis on Wildlife Subject and is a Author of 12 (Twelve) Research Papers in National and International Scientific Journals.
